Hello,

The utility ptot calculates total pressure but it is a post process utility

What I would like is to set ptot as default field like U, p, espilon, ...

How can I do that?

Also, I use openfoam on a network. I cannot access the code freely. How can I made changes to a file and that openfoam takes my file instead of the standard file?

Thanks for your help

Hi

It is easy. just you should add some lines to the code. If you can't access the codes you should make you own solver and compile it into openFoam. Then in your own code you should define field Ptot as U or P. just take a look at icoFoam source code(applications/sovers/incompressible/icoFoam) and see how fields U and P are defined in file creatFields.H.
