Hi all,
I am using a modified interFoam solver to simulate the filling process of polymer melt, which is a non-isothermal, non-newtonian, incompressible and two phase flow. In my simulation test,the value of Max(gamma) increases slowly as the calculation moving forward: Min(gamma) = -1.16383e-34 Max(gamma) = 1.00001 Min(gamma) = -9.90024e-35 Max(gamma) = 1.00002 Min(gamma) = -2.39511e-33 Max(gamma) = 1.00003 ... Min(gamma) = -1.33329e-20 Max(gamma) = 1.00935 Min(gamma) = -2.30943e-20 Max(gamma) = 1.00943 ... Finally, Max(gamma) is much bigger than 1. I would appreciate if someone can help me on this. Best Regards JItao Last edited by awacs; July 21, 2009 at 22:57. |

I used PointWise to generate a three-dimensional hybrid mesh. I have tried different mesh densities. It made no sence.
Thanks for your reply. I'll pay more attention to it. Jitao Last edited by awacs; July 21, 2009 at 22:59. |
