Floating object tutorial

Hi friends,
the floating object tutorial in openfoam gives(shows) large heave motions but negligible lateral motions.Can somebody please tell me how to obtain enhanced lateral motions as well. |

Well... the floating object tutorial is known to be a very hard subject to deal with. Search here in the forum for "floatingObject" and you'll probably find out that there have been many people giving up on this subject with OpenFOAM, because this is a very hard simulation to reconfigure. It works fine as-is, but as soon as you lift/lower the box a little bit or change anything in the geometry of the box (bit bigger/smaller, wider and so on), it will crash soon afterwards.
