hi there,
I have been engaging in openfoam study. Obviously I am not that good at it and meet lots of problems, whatsoever, I will keep learning. i am wondering if anyone can tell me whether there is some wall functons can offer 0 shear stress along the wall.
I am trying to simulate axis revolution body moving in water,

as you can see in my picture, turblent wall function,whick is not supposed, is applied on the cylinder bound( I name it HULL), currently I define it as below

HULL
nuTilda type zeroGradient;
P type zeroGradient;
nut type slip;
value uniform 0;
U type slip;
k type slip;
epsilon type slip.
RAS model k-epsilon pisoFoam/simpleFoam are adopted...

I am not sure that I fully understand what you are trying to accomplish, but I think that maybe the problem you are having is just a visualization problem caused by the interpolation of the data in paraFoam. I am not in front of my CFD machine at the moment but in paraFoam where you choose the variable to visualize there are two choices for each variable one is interpolated and the other isn't. I would try the non-interpolated one and see if it looks like you would expect.
