Hi,

I'm new to OpenFOAM. I'm now going to model the dispersion of plume, but I'm thinking which solver should I use. Do anyone have suggestion for me?

My project's aim is to simulate the dispersion of plume in urban area, and also I would like to include the time variation of the wind field in the calculation. Can OpenFoam simulate this situation--plume dispersion in time-varying wind field?

The ScalarTransportFoam seems to be useful in simulating dispersion, but it can only solve the case of no source. How about if I also include the source somewhere in my domain to produce plume continuously (or at a particular time)?

Many thanks!
