Hi there,
did you find the cause for this error? I'm getting the same but for pisoFoam and a normally already proven case. Does it have to do something with the mesh maybe? |

Hi,
I have the same problem. this problem occurs for piso based solvers not for simpleFoam and although it can solve U, it gives an error calculating p. Interestingly, while ı got this error with OpenFOAM 1612, OpenFOAM 5.0 doesnt give any error and start to calculate p. Is there anyone having an idea? |

Actually I found the issue causing the error in my case. I simply forgot to change the time scheme in fvSchemes from "steadyState" to a transient one ("backward"). As pisoFoam is a transient solver it obviously crashed.
