Dear Foamers,


For the past few months I am trying to run the cavitation for the aerofoil case using interPhaseChangeFoam but its not working. When I tried in 2D RANS its working fine. But even the 3D simpleFoam with either the k-\omega or with the k-\epsilon model don't work. I had prepared the geometry in gmsh then for the 3D created the additional patches for front and back as cyclic using createPatchDict. For every crashed simulations I am getting the same error as:

I am wondering that might be my mesh is not perfect for 3D sims or the cyclic boundary condition is creating an issue. Although the checkMesh looks fine (attached herewith).


Any help or suggestion will surely help me, since I am out the ideas now. As now I am trying the simpleFoam with laminar flow.
