MapFields - Error

Hello. I am new to openfoam and was practicing the lid driven cavity flow, and mapFields command outputs:

mapFields: symbol lookup error: mapFields: undefined symbol: _ZNK4Foam5cloud12writeObjectsERNS_14objectRegistry E

Tried updating but to no avail. Any help is appreciated.
OS: Ubuntu 20.04Foam Version :7

Hi

- To my knowledge, this error usually indicates an issue in the linking process, and comes from the linker, rather than compiler. Please search for the meaning of the error message in stackexchange.com.
- Have you tried to compile a new piece of code into OF7? Could you please test your overall compilation?
- Executing "foamInstallationTest" might be one option.
- Or running a simple tutorial.

Thanks for the help, I ran another case and then reran the testcase, now the error vanished.
