atokad is on a distinguished road
Hello,

I am a recent mechanical engineering graduate from trying to learn Helyx through the open source product to determine if I would like to use it in the future for consulting work.

I set up a flow analysis of two flows into one for a simple learning point of the software and I managed to get both inputs flowing and able to output information correctly. The problem is when I try to just add thermal energy the solver is no longer able to run correctly. I get met with this message in the terminal, then nothing happens:

Code:
Solver : buoyantBoussinesqSimpleFoam
The buoyantBoussinesqSimpleFoam solver has been replaced
by the more general buoyantSimpleFoam solver
I attached the files, but I am not sure what is going on here. I've tried:
  1. Running the buoyantSimpleFoam solver through the terminal. It was unable to run here due to a completely different error and ended up corrupting the file to the point where if I opened it in Helyx OS it would crash my computer.
  2. Making my delta T between the two flows extremely large. Nothing changed
  3. Tried all the different settings for the output temperature. Again nothing worked
  4. Tried changing the "Numerical Schemes" within the case setup. Nothing seemed to affect the solver though.

I am using Ubuntu 19.10 with 32 gb of memory and an i9 processor. The HelyxOS version I am using is v2.4.0. If there is any more information I can provide you, please let me know.

Edit: I am trying to attached a zip folder of my documents, but it is not letting me. I am being met with this message:
