hello, friends:
I need to modeling the mixing of two gas at different temperature with reactingFoam, but it seems that the default solver didn't taken into the gravity effect. so how to take it into account. Regars |

There has been a buoyant version -- named something to the effect of rhoReactingBuoyantFoam, depending on the version/flavor of OpenFOAM -- that does include gravity for as long as I remember. This should be what you are looking for. Here's a link to the solver in a recent release : https://develop.openfoam.com/Develop...ingBuoyantFoam.

You can implement an additional rho*g therm in UEquation, to create g field and read from dictionary you can use headers from some existing solver or play around by yourself.
