How to define the reattachment point of a BFS flow?

Hello everyone:
I am using OpenFOAM for my search about BFS flow with different ERs.
I am confusing with how to define the reattachment point, as there are more than one circulation region, how can I define the primary circulation region to define the reattachment point?
