Hi,

I have a compressible supersonic case and I want to use the solver sonicFoam. According to many sources, sonicFoam is a solver using PISO mode. But this is actually the nOuterCorrectors in the fvSolution file, which is a parameter in the PIMPLE mode.

Should I use sonicFoam in a PISO mode with max.Co strictly lower than 1, or I can also use the PIMPLE mode with large nOuterCorrectors and a lager Courant Number?

Regards.
