what is FoamX??

Hello all,

I have come across with FoamX through internet. It is written something like that which is used as a graphical interface for preprocessing a case.

What is it actually??
From where can I download to use it??

Please post any info regarding foamX.

Hi Sandeep

FoamX was a Java preprocessing interface to OpenFOAM. It has been abandoned as of version 1.5, so you need to go back to version 1.4.1 or older to obtain the source.

I have no further knowledge on FoamX, however I believe you are much better off considering other GUI-interface developments which are directed towards current versions of OF. Google will help you to locate these initiatives.
