HOWTO simpleSRFFoam

Hi.
I started to use OF a couple of weeks ago and i try to run the tutorials that are given in OF-1.7.1. and understand a lot with those. Now i am trying to run mixer tutorial that use simpleSRFFoam so i follow these step: blockMesh (For Mesh Building) then i use simpleSRFFoam and i get: simpleSRFFoam: command not found can some one identify the problem Regards Junaid |

Dear Junaid Ahmad Khan
Go to simpleSRFFoam folder through terminal and just simply compile it by typing wmake and then to mixer folder and run the case. Cheers............

can you tell me how to view complete rotor of mixer. as it shows only single rotor blade. Regards, Junaid |

I mean to say that in Gambit i design single rotor with periodic boundary condition and then in Fluent i rotate it and get the full view of the rotor so what i want to know that is there any option that show me the complete mixer or if there is a symmetric boundary can we somehow view it reflection. or something like that....

Hi JunaidAhmad
Means you want this to visualize the results.Then in paraview go in filters and then use alphabetical tools and then it go in Rotational Extrusion. But remember first create the vector plot i.e. Glyph and then only Rotational Extrusion tools will work. Hope this is what u want. Cheers......
