Hello.
I'm getting started with Salome, Code_Saturne and ParaView. I've found these programs very useful and functional at least for basic CFD modeling but I can't solve the problem with integration in ParaView. I'm loading calculation results in EnSight Gold format (Code_Saturne 4.0, code-saturne.org) to ParaView (Salome 7.5.1, salome-platform.org). Creating a Slice with Surface Normals filter and feeding it to Calculator filter I see all field variables on Calculator's output (SpreadSheet), including my new variable (Normal.Velocity*1.293 called Flux). Then I applying IntegrateVariables filter to this output but it only shows area, velocity components and parallel_domain variables. There is no my "Flux" test variable or pressure, k, epsilon or anything else . I tried to find some controls in IntergateVariables and SpreadSheet GUIs to add other variables, but without success. I also tried to integrate over surface (slice) or volume (Ensight case file), it integrates, but only velocity components, area or volume and parallel_domain are shown in results. No other variables... So this is not a Calculator issue, Calculator works OK. Internet search shows that people are able to integrate pressure and custom variables (after Calculator) in ParaView without problems. What am I doing wrong ? Salome and Code_Saturne downloaded from official websites, OS is Ubuntu 12.04 with current updates. Thanks for your attention. |
