shared memory parallelization with Paraview

Hi. I'm trying to speed up the Delaunay2d filter by running it on multicores.
I've located the "run on multicores" option on edit -> settings but I still don't see a difference in performance. Could there be something I'm missing? |

Quick answer: I believe that this feature only works with data that is pre-decomposed for parallel processing. Looks like the D3 filter can be used for doing the decomposition, if the data files aren't read with a parallel reader: http://daac.hpc.mil/software/ParaView/ParaView_D3.html
