Hi there,
To install paraview on my newly installed Ubuntu 16.04, I have downloaded and unzipped "ParaView-5.0.1-Qt4-OpenGL2-MPI-Linux-64bit" and located it in "/usr/local/src". When I execute paraview from within the bin folder I get the following error: libGL error: unable to load driver: r600_dri.so libGL error: driver pointer missing libGL error: failed to load driver: r600 libGL error: unable to load driver: swrast_dri.so libGL error: failed to load driver: swrast Segmentation fault (core dumped) Thanks for your help in advance. Did you ever solve this? I'm having a very similar problem (except that I have Ubuntu 15.04) and the only information I have found online is posts like yours that haven't been answered!

Hey,
if you haven't solved it yet, one solution is to delete libstdc++.so.6 in /lib/paraview-5.1/. |
