Hi all,
I tried to create a set of png images using pyfoam. It says wrong number of readers. I read in pyFoamPVSnapshot problem that using paraview can work. But I couldn't do that. Anyone know about this error..? Quote:

Hello I was having the same issue as you. I am a fresh user so I don't know if it is the correct way to solve the problem, also for you but it worked for me.
My solution was to save the state while running the paraview in builtin mode, I will write all the commands for clarity. run from terminal > paraFoam -builtin in the paraview GUI > choose proper angle for the image in the paraview GUI > file/save state (save as paraView state file) and close paraview run from terminal > pyFoamPVSnapshot.py . --all-times --state=<name of the file>.pvsm At this point you should get the snapshot done. I tried also to use the same state file for other cases and it worked for me. I hope it may help you as well. |

Hi,
I know about running paraview using builtin. The problem is my simulation is with lagrangian data, and If I run paraview with builtin, paraview couldn't read lagrangian data. So I couldn't see the particles. The only way is running through paraFoam. So is there any other possible way. Thanks. ssa |
