I have an inherently unstable problem that I'm trying to get a better distribution of the visual data by averaging multiple cells in to few cells as a visual aid for a presentation.
For example, if I intend on making a slice in one area of the problem that had a really fine mesh, for this example, let's assume a 6x6 square grid, however, I would like to blend/average these multiple flat cells in to fewer cells, say averaging this down to a 2x2 square grid. Is this possible, and is it a crazy idea? |
