Hello everybody. This is my first time I write in the forum...
I have recently started using OpenFOAM on the Ubuntu subsystem available within Windows 10, but I can't manage to launch properly the command paraFoam. This is the error message I get when I try to plot graphically the numerical results of the "cavity" tutorial. How can I solve? Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot. polo@LAPTOP-M03T0OTL:~/prova$ cd /home/polo/prova/cavity/ polo@LAPTOP-M03T0OTL:~/prova/cavity$ ll total 0 drwxr-xr-x 1 polo polo 4096 Mar 9 13:36 ./ drwxr-xr-x 1 polo polo 4096 Mar 8 16:09 ../ drwxr-xr-x 1 polo polo 4096 Mar 8 16:09 0/ drwxr-xr-x 1 polo polo 4096 Mar 9 13:32 0.1/ drwxr-xr-x 1 polo polo 4096 Mar 9 13:32 0.2/ drwxr-xr-x 1 polo polo 4096 Mar 9 13:32 0.3/ drwxr-xr-x 1 polo polo 4096 Mar 9 13:32 0.4/ drwxr-xr-x 1 polo polo 4096 Mar 9 13:32 0.5/ drwxr-xr-x 1 polo polo 4096 Mar 9 13:32 constant/ drwxr-xr-x 1 polo polo 4096 Mar 8 16:09 system/ polo@LAPTOP-M03T0OTL:~/prova/cavity$ paraFoam Invalid $PV_PLUGIN_PATH and -plugin-path= not defined No supplementary ParaView/OpenFOAM reader modules Using builtin reader: paraFoam -vtk Created temporary 'cavity.foam' /home/polo/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-v2012/bin/paraFoam: 420: paraview: not found polo@LAPTOP-M03T0OTL:~/prova/cavity$ |
