ghastbug is on a distinguished road
To display accurate mesh slices, you use the filter ExtracCellsByRegion. And you toggle of decompose polyhedra.


But this gives you a 3D clip, not a slice. Is there a way to transform this into a slice without getting a wrong mesh view?



I am attaching one image with two sections. One is from ExtractCellsByRegion. The other is from a slice filter, which gives ugly mesh lines
