Hi,

Having just finished installing OpenFoam v2312 in VMWare/Opensuse, I tried to view a simulation with linux paraView, but ran into problems.

So, I downloaded paraView for Windows. Now, I'm trying to understand how to use it to view results for a case in my linux virtual machine. So far, no luck.

I could copy the entire case over to windows with WinSCP, but there must be a more elegant way to access the linux files from the windows paraview gui.

Hoping for help!

You should be able to create a folder in Windows and mount that into your VM with onboard functionality (shared folders). Then you can run your stuff there and access from both OSs.

Another possibility is to use Windows Subsystem for Linux. You can install OF there in like 5 mins. You can directly access even the linux filesystem from within the Windows Explorer and run commands inside the WSL or on the native Windows drives via the command line. It has never been easier to run OF on a Windows PC

They will increase your score and unlock new balls and skins. You can also use them to buy power-ups that can help you survive longer slope game

I don't know why I always report errors when installing in VMWare. Can you share your experience?

Hi whane,

Whenever I need to install openfoam in VMware, I follow the instructions give in the Wolf Dynamics tutorials. They also cover the paraview installation, and are comprehensive. Of course, you first have to figure out Mr. Guererro's accent!
