[OpenFOAM] ParaFOAM 3Dwindow doesnbt show results continuously

Hi everybody,

I have a problem with the 3D window of paraFoam:

When I want to display something like a mesh or a flow field, anything, it just shows the picture when I click on it, or when I rotate the mesh.
I can work with paraFoam, it is just annoying.

Is this a setting I can change or is there an other solution for this problem?

(Ubuntu 8.10, OF 1.5)

I had the same problem for my Ubuntu 8.10/OF 1.5. I tried different versions of paraview - 3.2, 3.4, 2.6 and they all had the same problem - the objects are visible only when mouse button are clicked and otherwise the display window is white. After one day struggle, I thought maybe there are some conflicts between Paraview and Ubuntu display configuration. I went to System/Preferences/Appearence/Visual Effects and changed the visual effects level from Normal to None. It worked. The display window in Paraview becomes black and I can see objects and change view angles without keeping the mouse button clicked. Hope this helps.
