Hi. I'm trying to visualise some data from an arterial flow simulation using paraFoam. Since its quite a complex domain I would like to display the surface, but partly transparent, so that the data inside (vectors etc) is visible. Does anyone know how to do this? I can generate the surface (the import module does this if I set it to `color by Property') and I can change its colour, but it always comes up opaque and I can't see how to change that!

There is an option for adjusting Opaquicity of the figure. In paraview you can see 3 options Parameters, display and information, in display section check out the last option opacity i usually use it at .1

Hi Gavin,
I have found this old post, I have a question. What is the turbulence model and the boundary conditions you have used ? Thank You, Walter Quote:

Right click on the object and select '' set block opacity '' and adjust the transparency accordingly
