Hi everyone,
thanks in advance for any kinds of help. Here's my small pb: when i want to visualize my mesh using Paraview, it links automatically in triangular mode the vertices (2D) whereas i would prefer staggered grid. It s ok on the border of the domain (see picture) but not if i create a slice inside the domain. I can't find the appropriate option. The mesh is cartesian and uniform. Guillaume |

Hi
try to use the filter 'extract cells by region' instead of 'slice' to create your slice. Daniela |

Hi Daniela,
This could be alsmot awesome if i could extract only the plane i chose instead of half a volume (check the pict). I tried to create it directly from a slice but it didn't work out. If you have any idea ... Thanks a lot in advance |

In addition to what Daniela suggested, on the 'extract cell by region' panel, select both 'extract on intersected' and 'extract intersected'.

Great, thanks a lot Ertan ! I chose last time one of those 2 options independently from the other one without success!
Thanks Daniela too Guillaume |
