HELLO I want to ask a question about CONWIZ. ------- Recommended settings ------- CONWIZ = T activates settings based on refrho = 1.000000E+00 refvel = 1.000000E+01 reflen = 1.000000E+00 reftemp = 1.000000E+03 rlxdu1 = 5.000000E-01 rlxdv1 = 5.000000E-01 rlxdw1 = 5.000000E-01 what does these 'reference values' do in the simulation.Are they the initial values for the SIMPLE ?
thank you. |

The reference values are used to assemble initial values for the velocity-pressure influence coefficients, which appear in the pressure correction equation and are used to correct velocities as part of the SIMPLE algorithm. CONWIZ uses linear under relaxation of the influence coefficients.
