Dear all,
I'm new with pointwise and I'm doing the meshing of a foil and the mesh is growing inside and outside of the curve shown in the pic 1 and 2. Maybe this is because the growing arrows of the pic 3 didnt apear in my case. Also how to face the problem with 2 foils like in the pic 4?? |

Tomas,
You can try to find the answer to your problem in previous threads for instance: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/poi...g-surface.html http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/poi...extrusion.html http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/poi...ayer-mesh.html If the airfoil has the same cross section on both sides you can create 2D mesh and then use the path based extrusion. |
