I had a mesh in plot3d format made with pointwise, I tries to create the boundaries and export it in CGNS format (unstructured), but our unstructured solver fails to read it. Our solver easily read CGNS mesh made with ICEM CFD. The CGNS version capability of our solver is 3.1 and below with adf format.
Can anyone please help, if I am doing any mistake in exporting the CGNS mesh. |

Pointwise exports CGNS 3.1.4 files in the HDF5 format. Since you are using ADF, that is a problem. HDF5 is now the "official" format for CGNS due to its parallel IO and data compression capabilities, so it might be worthwhile for you to switch over.
