Hi,
What is the best method to have such mesh? Last edited by daldry; August 17, 2017 at 05:44. |

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
What did you mean by tetrahedral cells around the trailing edge ? If you mean the rear upper and lower small connectors illustrated on the attached figure I advice you to split the full domain with a vertical line or extrude only the upper and lower structured part and select the BC to be constant x ,which achieves the splitting between quadrilateral and tetrahedral elements. else if you mean TE point ,when using T-Rex selecting full layer = 0 --> multiple normal will starting from TE selecting full layer = 1 --> single normal will starting from TE Try all and show what is the highest minimum included angle All praise is due to Allah best wishes |

Thank you for the reply.
The issue is ,when I create a block using the farfield domains and the wing's walls, then try to initialize the block using T-REX, it doesn't work, I can see the extrusion working, till everything around the wing is red, then an error message says that the entity couldn't be initilized. |
