Hello!
I have a problem with boundary layer mesh generation around a spinner and a nacelle. My geometry is composed by: NASA rotor67 single blade (meshed using TurboGrid and then exported in Pointwise), a spinner and the nacelle. Around nacelle and spinner I have to generate boundary layer mesh. I tried with the option extrude normal but it doesn't work because the mesh has to correspond with the inlet domain of the blade. So I tried T-Rex option but surface mesh quality is very poor, especially when I check equiangle and equiarea skewness in some regions the value is too high. Has anyone some ideas about how improving mesh quality? This is the first time for me using Pointwise |
