tanmay singhal is on a distinguished road
I am trying to do an 2d axi-symmeteric analysis in openfoam.

i tried 2d option with solver as Openfoam in pointwise.

i specified the boundary condition and set solver attributes also for top and base.

Still in the 2d case it shows symmtery axis in the boundary file generated.

and when i used these files in openfoam it shows an error that wedge defined is on the plane (0,0, -1) and 2.5 degree orientation is required.

My doubt is whether altogether my approach is wrong to make a 2d grid for 2d axi-symmetric analysis and 3d mode to be used. Or is it some mistake on my part to set the solver attributes.

i would be grateful if somebody can point towards some tutorial to handle this.
