Dear All,
Hi, It is for a while that I am trying to replicate the wave induced scour around a single pile simulation (with the small domain) performed by Ahmad et al., (2018). The model successfully captures the wave profile. However, after some time (beyond 250 iterations) a spike at the beginning of the domain is formed and the sediment transport halts . I have attached my input files plus the sediment profile showing the time evolution of the spike . It would be great if somebody could help. Best Regards, Vahid |

We will have a look at this and get back to you soon. I am assuming that the x-axis in your figure is the length along the NWT and the y-axis is the sediment bed level?

Hi kamath,
Yes, you are right. I have updated the figure. It shows the bed level at the middle of the NWT. Thanks for your considerations. Best Regards, Vahid |

Hi Cloud you have a look at the model? I guess I have a mistake in my modeling but I have checked the Userguide for several times with no avail . Vahid |
