Hello! When I put the command o 33 44.0 2.50 0.35 in Tutorial_REEF3D_19.06 is changed to O 10 43.65 44.35 2.15 2.85 0 7,the other commands do not change, and they are displayed in the result file REEF3D_Force-1.dat.I want to get the force on the structure. How should I set it? Is the output of REEF3D_CFD_Forcesolid-1.dat the force of the terrain?

Hi Andrea,
In order to include the structures and calculate forces on them, use the commands from Solids (S), in your case S 10. The force box is then defined around this solid (as might have already done in ctrl.txt using the P 81). The forces on the solid object is then output to the forcesolid.dat The O commands are now deprecated and will be removed soon.

What's the use of REEF3D_Force.dat file? What is the force in this document? In addition, I set the structure to O 10 43.65 44.35 2.15 2.85 0 7, and the command force box is also fixed on the structure. Why is there a force output in the REEF3D_CFD_Forcesolid.dat, and what is the output force? There is no solid in the force box at this time. Shouldn't the REEF3D_CFD_Forcesolid.dat file be 0? |
