Dear REEF3D Team,

Thank you for your amazing software!However, I have doubts about the following options when using the software:
F 10 2 //Does it necessary to open it when simulating bridge pier scour and select two phases?
F 39 0.5 //What is the function of this option?
F 43 0.55 //What is the function of this option?Does it only need to select one between F43 and F44?
F 44 3 //What is the difference between this option and the later S37? Does it represent the reinitialization time step of the water-air interface, while S37 represents the reinitialization time step of the water-sand interface?
F 49 1 //Does it necessary to open it when simulating bridge pier scour?
I 10 1 //In bridge scour simulation, does it necessary to simultaneously activate I11, I12, and I13 after activating this option?
N 47 0.1 //The following S14 option also represents the time step relaxation factor. Should one of N47 and S14 be taken when simulating bridge scour, or should both be turned on and the values be the same?
S 43 50000 //What is the appropriate value to take?
S 44 200 //When viewing scour depth data, extract the results based on "simtime", and the S44 option will affect "simtime". What is the appropriate value for this option?
T 35、T 36、T 37、T 38 //Do these options need to be manually enabled or will they be enabled by default when starting the k-w turbulence model?

Looking forward to suggestions.
Thanks

In addition, I would like to know from which literature can the VOF theory used in REEF3D be obtained?

Regarding the free surface, I would stick to the standard (i.e. level set function). It seems that you are trying to work with a couple of complex algorithms (sediment + 6DOF). So for the rest, best to keep things simple.

F 10 2 -> don't change
F 39 0.5 -> not needed
F 43 0.55 -> don't change
F 44 3 -> don't change, no connection to S37
I 10 1 -> depends on your flow condition
N 47 0.1 -> S14 and N47 are not connected
S 43 50000 -> depends on, but your number is too high. you could try something between 100 and 1000
S 44 200 -> 10
T 35、T 36、T 37、T 38 -> don't change

Thanks for your reply,Professor Bihs. I will try to optimize the model next.
