Problem in wave scour

Hello REEF3D Team,

I am trying to replicate the problem wave scour around circular monopile

I have few queries regarding sediment transport model

1. Can it is possible to have S 14 value more then 1 ?
2. If i am choosing S 15 0 ( adaptive from S 13 and S 14), and putting S 13 10, then the time step for the sediment transport is 10 sec. I didn't get that..
3. Also during the sediment transport i am getting varying dtsed in sediment log file, which i want as constant values.

Hei Aasish,

Yes, S14 can be bigger than 1, I would not recommend that as it might violate the CFL criterion.
The sediment time step is chosen as the minimum of S13 and CFL criterion with bed height change speed.
To get a constant dtsed you need to choose S15 2.
