Hi I want to post process the shear rate in my simulation i pressume to get such a value in my .pst file i need to use the POSDAT sub-routine, have you any idea of the coding needed to get SECINV out? joel

You may define a passive scalar and use subroutine scalfn.f for the calculation of the shear rate (Option "User" for the solution method of the scalar).

so in the user coding i just need to type secinv? there is no example coding under star as with most of the sub-routines.

You have to calculate the value you need yourself by using the derivations dudx, dudy, ...
SECINV is (normally) only accessible in subroutines VISMOL and VISTUR. |
