Greetings,
My question involves the use of velocity field data to solve for the acceleration field data for a model, where Du/Dt = du/dt + u*du/dx + v*du/dy + w*du/dz (D=substantial derivative,d=partial derivative)...so on and so forth. I guess I'm wondering how to differentiate a specific velocity component in a specific direction. Thanks, Brad |

Well, at least for the steady-state case you could load the velocity gradients into 3 registers via the post registers operations tool, then load the velocity components into 3 more registers and multiply them accordingly.
