You can find tutorial manuals where your instance of STAR-CD was installed, under the 'man/tutorial' folder.

To start the pre-processor, you do it from the 'STAR-Launcher', under 'Pre/Post'>ProSTAR or ProAM. If the tutorial manual makes any reference to the 'starlink' or 'pmovlink' process, ignore it. It's handled by Solve>Star interface for Windows.
