We're looking at purchasing Comet-Works, or possibly Star-CD. How does everyone think these compare to packages like Fluent or CFDesign? Is Comet-Works easy to learn? Does anyone use Comet with Solidworks, and could you comment on how well that interface works?
We are looking for a package that is fairly easy to use, and could be used easily during the design stage - so good interactions with SolidWorks are pretty important. We like what we have heard about Star-CD so far, especially since we'd like the capability to use some of the more advanced features (like combustion) when we need them. Thanks for your feedback! |
