Hello,
I find the installation of the STAR-CD components a bit difficult and there are often problems. What do you think? I hope for the next version they will test installation better before sending it to us. It is not very nice to have buggs as soon as installation. Nabu |

I couldn't agree more. Installation is very awkward, and seldom goes smoothly. I talking mainly about Windows machines here.
I must have done at least 100 installations and still have trouble one time out of three. Some attention to installation issues would be very welcome. |

And all the installation related to parallel computing I would say. It is important.

No problem with installation of StarCD so far. Only slight problems with XVision, but nothing difficult.

I agree I think the adapco should spend more time testing the installation.

The code is ok. But unless you are a bit computer geek, the installation is a bit "academic".
