Hello,

I find the installation of the STAR-CD components a bit difficult and there are often problems.

What do you think?

I hope for the next version they will test installation better before sending it to us. It is not very nice to have buggs as soon as installation.

I couldn't agree more. Installation is very awkward, and seldom goes smoothly. I talking mainly about Windows machines here.

I must have done at least 100 installations and still have trouble one time out of three. Some attention to installation issues would be very welcome.

And all the installation related to parallel computing I would say. It is important.

No problem with installation of StarCD so far. Only slight problems with XVision, but nothing difficult.

I agree I think the adapco should spend more time testing the installation.

The code is ok. But unless you are a bit computer geek, the installation is a bit "academic".
