hi,everyone
what is this message means? "warning #007***setting T at cell 100 from 0.00 to 0.01 *TREF for density calculation." in this case, matirial is N2, and density set to f(T,P). there are other scalar O2,H2O. and for scalar calculation, the subroutine sorsca.f and fluij.f are used. can you tell me. thank you so much regards jane |

It means something is going badly wrong with the enthalpy equation. There are lots of possibilities. Check your set up, especially relating to enthalpy (check specific heats, temperature boundary conditions). Try reducing the under-relaxation factors (if steady-state) or time-step and PISO controls. Look at the cells which cause the message: are they highly distorted, or next to badly matched couples?

thank you, Richard
i use the heat sourece subroutine sorent.f to add enthpy to some cells, and I set the density is f(t), but if i set it to other selection but not relating to the temperature.it will be ok, and there isn't warning like this. anyway, i think it must relate to the calculation of temperature, i will try to decrease the under-relaxtion fators. thank you very much! jane |
