Hello,
I need to model n-heptane injection into the combustion chamber's vaporizer (mushroom type). In order to supply 0.35 g of the fuel per second 301,631,360 droplets of diameter 14.9e-6 m should be supplied. The questions are: 1) What is the best way to arrange the droplets? (i.e. number per parcel); 2) Whether fuel's properties should be the ones of gas (vapor) or of liquid? a) In the droplets properties settings (density, Cp, etc.); b) In the Additional Scalars properties; 3) How to determine the max size of particles track file? 4) What is the meaning of the droplet tracking time for steady-state calculation? Best Regards, Julie |
