Default Prosurf to Proam problems, help please

Hello everyone, I'm currently a student at university doing my final year project on the analysis of an engine intake system, basically its a mid engined supercar and my aim is to analise it in the current forum both in the wind tunnel and in CFD then redesign it and compare results.

Ok now I'm very new at using this software (V3.150A) and am having trouble importing the files from prosurf into proam. On importing the iges file into prosurf there are obviously a lot of errors. I've ran auto repair varying the tolerances until the errors are at the minimum amount that I can get them to. My problem is that I still have 199 free curve errors but when I generate the surface grid no errors are shown other than the curve errors.

Here's a grab of the model prior to the grid

And after the grid

Now I save the prosurf files as prostar .vrt and .cell files but when I go to import them into Proam the screen just goes white and displays the following in the output window;

Sorry to bombard you guys/girls with all this info but I thought it would give a better indication where I'm going wrong. I'm running 32 bit windows XP.
