images in specified locations inside the domain

Hello to everybody
I have a question about post-processing of images at specified locations. For example I have to take a picture in a specified location inside the domain e.g between X=-60 and X=16.5 and Y=0 Y=3 by ignoring the whole geometry. Do someone know how can I do this or alternatively how can I find a coordinate (x,y,z) at a specified location? Thank you in advance George |

For taking picture in a specific geometrical range, keep fluid cells lying in geometry range needed and take the corresponding picture.
local coordinate can be found at a specific vertex using command 'vlis vx' command. See help. |

look at the commands
*set X 3. *set Y 4. *set Z 5. *set COORD 1 *set ANGLE 3 center X Y Z COORD angle ANGLE you can even do a loop: scdump gif *set X 0. 0.1 *set Y 0. 0.1 *set Z 0. 0.1 *set COORD 1 *set ANGLE 3 1 cset news fluid ! *define noexec center X Y Z COORD angle ANGLE cplo *end *loop 1,20,1 scdump off the view will cahnge each plot and you can do an impressive movie. |

To view a subset of the domain use "cset news grange" with the appropriate geometric values.
To find the coordinates of a vertex use "vset vcrs" & click on the vertex. |
