Default plane section passing through an object

Hell all; I'm new in this form and new to star Cd as well I'm facing a problem, which is when I have an air box for example and a constant temp solid object inside it, and at some condition I want to get temp distribution around that hot solid object by making a plane section. I am not getting the object temp althought the plane section is passing through that object?

If any one could guide me where the problem may be.

Thanks in advance

The section passes through all cells in the current cset. You might have only fluid cells in your cset. Try cset, all or cset, add, solid (followed by cplot) to get them in your set and display them.

ok but then you do cplo? Because replot don't care for any cell type added after a cplot... Try also to vary the type of image (section vc clipped hidden) to see if it's all ok

The problem is you told us that you were using STAR-CD in your first note and that's an entirely different program than STAR-CCM+, so you were getting the answers to how to fix your problem in STAR-CD.

In STAR-CCM+ its all done with the GUI. You need to make sure all regions are present in your scene view and that all of them are unhidden. Go through the scene tree and make sure that the solid region is contained in your current scene.

copy the last post.
My answer was intended for pro-Star (Star-Cd 3.26 or similar) where you have a command window where you can type command with keyboard...another world respect Star-CCM+!!! Try to check the Scenes tree as TG said before and check you have activated the rights "Parts" in your scene
