Hello,

Does someone know what is residence time in the Lagrangian model?

Thank you for any help

hi,

thank you for the link, but I already read that and it is not really of help to me. I just don't see why we need that in Lagrange model.
I think I'll try eulerian multiphase, I'll get maybe more lucky with that one :-)
Thank you

There are plenty of situations where one would like to know how long a particle spends inside a particular location. That's the purpose of residence time.

I understand, but in my situation there is no interest in knowing it. And in fact, with Lagrangian model, I don't even know if I could do what I need to do, I don't understand how I can have control on particles; everything seems to act on the continuous phase. I am trying today Euler but I'll get another problem : no porous zone or porous baffle available with Euler...
