Hello.

I would like to know how is the more practical way to insert a partial derivate equation (dT/dx).

The only method of doing this would be to use user coding, and I'm not entirely sure if that's even possible.

You are better off using OpenFOAM for this.

You can define a user field function and use the operator grad($phi), where phi is any scalar quantity.

The resulting function is the vector: d_phi/dx i + d_phi/dy j + d_phi/dz k

So, you can then use any component of the function for further calculations.
