Part based meshing VS Region based meshing

Hello all,

A) what are the pros and cons of
1) Part based meshing and
2) Region based meshing.

B) Part V/s Region based meshing.

I think you can simply read the Help of Starccm regarding meshing. There's a comparison about the subject you asked.

The only pro of RBM now is that you can use the extruder and generalized cylinder mesher. Otherwise I don't think it has any other advantages.

Summary: PBM is better in most cases (and its the newer feature of both)
