Good morning,
I'm running a 3D ship model simulation, scale 15 ( 3.6m model), k-e turb.model, velocity: 1.329 m/s, in order to verify resistance. Physical time 20 sec, 3 step iteration, 0.01 time step. In the first simulation (pics. 1~2) at 16.5° second, it appeared a trend change in the resistance and residuals ( as if someone stopped the running),while in the attempt n.2 (pics. 3~4) it appeared on the screen, at time 3.44 sec, the error "amg solver diverged", and "a floating point exception has occurred"... Can anyone help me? Thanks |

Your case just blew up. You need to find out where it blew up - look for unphysically large velocities or pressures. What does the grid look like in that location?
Check your inner-timestep convergence. Do your forces converge? 0.01s per timestep seems pretty big. |
