Hello Folks,
How to impose mass flow rate outlet in Star-CCM+? I have seen under pressure outlet there is an option on target mass flow rate. But if we impose it, it also require P02 in this case it always tries to attempt P02. Kindly guide me for that Thank you,

You can use a MF-inlet with a inversed value.

You have to be careful with the mass flow inlet with a negative value, since it imposes a velocity field upstream of the condition and can cause poor convergence.
The flow split-outlet has an option for a specified mass flux if you have a constant-density flow I think. Other than that you have to use the mass flow inlet with a negative number, but I recommend you coarsen the mesh upstream of it to try and make the incoming field more uniform. |
